Year 12 - Edge Hill University

Edge Hill University in Liverpool have a range of FREE Open Days and subject taster days coming up this term for Year 12 students.

Open Days

These days give you the opportunity to explore Edgehill's 160 acre award winning campus and accommodation, meet course tutors, attend subject presentations and gain advice and guidance at the Student Experience and Information Fair.

Their Open Days will take place on:

  • Saturday 12th October
  • Saturday 9th November
  • Saturday 23rd November 2019

Subject Taster Days

Subject Taster days are a great way to meet experienced academics, take part in workshops and lectures in a subject of interest; learn about student life from current students and experience state of the art facilities and find out how schools and university subjects relate to different career paths.

Please find below the list of dates for subject specific taster days: 

  • 6th November - Computer Science
  • 7th November - Law, Criminology & Policing
  • 13th November - Psychology and Social Sciences
  • 14th November - Geosciences
  • 20th November - Sports & Physical Activity
  • 21st November - Medicine
  • 27th November - Biosciences
  • 18th November - Business
  • 5th December - Education and Teacher Training
  • 12th December - Health & Social Care

Interested in studying medicine?

Edge Hill University’s - Widening Access to Medicine Programme Widening Access to Medicine (WAM) Programme applications are now open.
This is a series of five free events over two years, designed to support local students to learn more about studying medicine and the application process.

The programme is aimed at Year 12 students with an interest in starting either the Foundation Year for Medicine or the undergraduate medical programme in two years' time.
