RECREATIONAL & PERFORMING ARTS
Drama
The main point to raise regarding Drama is that attendance is crucial as most of the coursework is group based. If students are absent it makes group work difficult for those who are in. Students will have project booklets in which they will be asked to review their projects (whether they be scripted or devised pieces) and homeworks will involve completing these and answering mock questions.
Music
All coursework has been replaced by controlled assessment in Music. However this still means that over the course of the 2years, students will complete a minimum of 2 compositions - the preparation of which can be done at home and in class outseide of controlled time. There are also ongoing performance assessments, the first of which has already been completed by the class. Preparation for these will be set as homework and logged by Miss Phillips via PARs.
