Welcome To Queen's Park High School Sixth Form

This is a very exciting and important time for you. Trying to decide where to study when you have finished school is very difficult. You need to be confident that you will be getting the best education, have access to all the facilities you need and know that you will be safe, happy and well supported. We are very proud of our Sixth Form at Queen’s Park High School, there is so much happening that it is going to be difficult for me to tell you all about it on these pages. The best thing you can do is come and experience it for yourself! You have to see it to believe it, that is why we organise student tracking days. I will let you know more about this later. 

In the Sixth Form at Queen's Park High School all students choose a combination of courses which offer both depth and breadth of study. We work hard to ensure we offer the largest number of courses possible. We believe your Sixth Form courses should build on your previous experience, we recognise how hard you have worked in the past and we want to enhance that learning. We know your time with us will enable you to attain the qualifications you need to move on to the next stage of your life. For a large number of you that will be higher education perhaps Oxford or Cambridge for others it will be the world of work or work based training like apprenticeships. 

We place just as much emphasis on you developing a wide range of personal qualities and social skills. Our Sixth Form Enrichment programme is bursting with opportunities for you to do something which makes you stand out from the crowd, you could also join the committee. The Sixth Form have their own committee, have a look at the structure which appears later on. I am sure you could find an area you would enjoy contributing to whilst you acquire new skills.
