IMPORTANT -  INSTRUMENTAL AND VOCAL LESSONS SEPT 2011

As the end of term is almost with us, just a quick reminder to students who wish to register an interest in trying a short "taster" course of lessons starting in September must do so BEFORE THE END OF THIS SUMMER TERM. Music for Life can accommodate almost any student who registers an interest in lessons now, but once lessons start in September additional places often only tend to crop up if other students decide to stop courses.

For Parents / Guardians wishing to use the Parental Portal System for the first time please read the following tutorial

  1. Open a new browser window and type the following web address into the address bar: https://parents.qphs.cheshire.sch.uk/insight
  2. You will be presented with the login screen. Enter your username and password which was emailed to you when you signed up and Press Login
  3. You will then be ased for a PIN Number. This PIN number is emailed to you at this time. Check your email for it including your junk filter. The email will come from This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
  4. Enter the PIN number you receive and continue the login process.
  5. You will be asked to change your password - you must complete this step.
  6. Upon successful login you will be forwarded to the portal homepage. If you have more than 1 child attending school you can switch between them by clicking on their photgraphs at the bottom of the screen
  7. Once you have finished please ensure that you logout by clicking on the "door" icon

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do you require a PIN number every time I login?

The PIN number authentication method is necessary to ensure that the data held on this system is as secure as possible. It is a Government condition that we implement a secondary authentication method on top of the standard username and password procedure. We have taken this precaution to ensure that the person logging on to the system is who they say they are.

My PIN has expired can you send me a new one?

The PIN number is automatically emailed to your registered email address on the system upon each logon. We cannot issue a PIN number manually. We recommend that you have your email open whilst logging on to the system ready to receive the PIN number.

I have forgotten my Username, Please can you send me a reminder?

If you have forgotten your username please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it requesting a reset

I have forgotten my Password, Please can you reset it?

You are able to reset your password on the login screen. Enter your username under the "forgotten password" box and you will be emailed a new one
