WINNERS OF 2 AWARDS FROM THE GOOD SCHOOLS GUIDE 2011

Queen’s Park High School has won two awards from The Good Schools Guide for Level 3 Travel and Tourism and A level Citizenship.
The subject award for Level 3 Travel and Tourism and A level Citizenship means Queen’s Park High School has outranked all other English schools for the subjects. The award is based upon data showing outstanding performance for the last three years’ and the popularity of the subject areas. The aim of the award is to highlight excellent teaching in individual subjects which has led to outstanding results.

YOUNG ENTERPRISE CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE 2011 AWARD

Queen’s Park High School is one of only five schools in the area to be awarded the Young Enterprise Centre of Excellence award.
This recognises the inventive and imaginative way Enterprise Education is delivered through a series of business and work related curriculum enrichment days. Year 12 students are also involved in the Company Programme; setting up and running their own business with the support of business advisers.

HIGH PRAISE FOR QUEEN’S PARK HIGH SCHOOL OFSTED 2011
Queen’s Park High School in Handbridge was celebrating this week following another good report from a team led by one of Her Majesty’s Inspectors. In their report, Ofsted (Office for Standards in Education) say that “Queen’s Park is a good and improving school with a good sixth form, and the contribution of the students to the wider community is outstanding”.
